One person approves in a thread, another in a comment on a slide, and the media buyer has to ask which version is final. Nothing on the file itself says whether it’s ready. With Focal, the status is part of the asset.

Custom approval statuses on every asset
Statuses track each creative’s stage in Focal. Out of the box you get Draft, In progress, Waiting for approval, Changes requested, Approved, Live and Archived, and you can customize the list for your space. Change statuses one by one or in bulk, filter the library by status and let guests approve from a shared collection.

Approval can trigger the upload
Use a status change as a workflow trigger. When a creative moves to Approved, Focal can upload it to Meta, TikTok or YouTube, send a Slack message or update a board task, so nobody has to chase the next step.

Use the defaults or customize the list in Settings, then Statuses, to match how your team signs off.

Change status from the media player, or select a batch and update them all at once.
